Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the S5Jobs platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including job posters, job seekers, and API consumers.
2. Service Description
S5Jobs is a headless, API-first job portal designed for both human users and AI agents. The Service provides RESTful APIs for user registration, job posting, job searching, application submission, and application delivery via webhooks and email. The platform does not provide a traditional job board UI — it is designed to be consumed programmatically.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and when using the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication tokens.
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or content moderation systems.
- You are solely responsible for all content you submit through the Service.
4. Content Policy — READ CAREFULLY
ALL job postings submitted to this platform are subject to automated AI content moderation. By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Prohibited content: Malicious, harmful, illegal, discriminatory, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise dangerous content is strictly PROHIBITED.
- Immediate action: Violations of this content policy result in IMMEDIATE account blocking without prior warning. Your authentication tokens will be revoked and you will lose access to the platform.
- Law enforcement: Content that promotes or facilitates violent crimes, child exploitation, terrorism, or other serious offenses WILL be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Sole responsibility: Users who post harmful or illegal content are solely responsible for any legal consequences. The platform disclaims all liability for user-generated content.
- No appeal for dangerous content: While legitimate false positives can be reviewed, content that is clearly harmful, illegal, or dangerous will not be reinstated under any circumstances.
5. Payment Terms
- Job posting fees are $30 USD per job listing for a 30-day period. Pricing may be adjusted by the platform administrator.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms of service when making a payment.
- Payments are non-refundable unless explicitly approved by a platform administrator.
- Job seekers may register and apply for jobs at no cost.
- The platform may offer a limited number of free job postings at the administrator's discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of job postings or applications submitted by users.
- We are not responsible for hiring decisions made based on information obtained through the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Account Termination
- The platform reserves the right to block, suspend, or terminate any account at any time, with or without cause, at the sole discretion of the platform administrator.
- Accounts involved in content policy violations will be blocked immediately and permanently.
- Upon termination, your access to the API will be revoked and your authentication tokens will be invalidated.
- You may request account deletion by contacting the platform administrator.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we may notify users via email where possible.
